LAFAYETTE, La. -- Senior Clint Broussard won the men's high jump and freshman Corey Wesley earned a win in the men's triple jump to pace the ULM track & field team at the Louisiana Classics Saturday at the Cajuns Track & Field Facility.

Broussard -- who entered the weekend with the best jump in the Sun Belt Conference this season -- was the only athlete in the field to clear 2.05 meters Saturday. Broussard finished just ahead of Memphis' Darius Lynwood and LSU's Fitzroy Dunkley for the title.

Wesley earned his first career title with a best jump of 14.28 meters on his third attempt, easily ahead of Southeastern Louisiana's Phillippe Moore (13.76 meters). Wesley's mark ranks as the fifth best in the Sun Belt this season. He also entered the weekend with the conference's top mark in the long jump.

The Warhawks' 4x400-meter relay team also had a solid showing with a third-place finish to cap the day. The foursome of freshman Mark Demus, freshman Nigel Cribbs, sophomore Jamel Sams and senior Dimitri Hampton clocked a time of 3:16.04 to finish behind Southern (3:14.55) and Dillard (3:15.36). In addition, Tate finished fifth (49.06) and Cribbs finished eighth (49.39) in the men's 400-meter dash.

On the women's side, ULM's 4x100-meter relay team of senior Jacobi Wilson, freshman Victoria Bowie, freshman Ariel Cain and freshman Ke'Andrea Wilson ran to a second-place finish in a season-best time of 47.31.
