MONROE, La. – ULM junior forward
Travis Munnings has been named to the Preseason All-Sun Belt Third Team, as selected by the league's head coaches.

The 6-foot-6, 200-pound Munnings led ULM in scoring (13.2 points per game) and rebounding (8.1 rebounds per game) in 2016-17. He ranked third in the Sun Belt in rebounding (8.1 rpg.) and 19th in scoring (13.2 ppg.). Munnings led the Warhawks in scoring in 11 games and rebounding on 21 occasions. His 69 offensive rebounds also led the team. Munnings finished second on the team in 3-point field goals made (51), assists (67), steals (27) and minutes played (33.7 per game).

The Freeport, Bahamas, native reached double figures in scoring in 26 games. Munnings closed out the regular season by scoring in double digits in 13-straight games (14.7 ppg. during that stretch). He scored a career-high 22 points at Little Rock. Munnings posted double-figure rebounds in 10 games, including a career-high 13 boards on three occasions. He produced seven double-doubles (points and rebounds).

Munnings is majoring in kinesiology (fitness and sport industry).

ULM opens the 2017-18 season at TCU on Friday, Nov. 10, with tipoff set for 8 p.m. CT on FOX College Sports (FCS). In his first season at TCU, Jamie Dixon led the Horned Frogs to a 24-15 record, including an 88-56 victory over Georgia Tech in the 2017 National Invitation Tournament Championship Game.
