Angela Black MoonOne of the top performers on the track, Moon
finished her ULM career with 16 Southland Conference individual championships
in four different events. One of five All-Americans for the women's track and
field program, the Jacksonville, Texas, native finished her four-year career
with back-to-back Most Outstanding Field Performer honors and was named Indoor
Athlete of the Year.
John ClementA member of ULM's national championship team
in 1987, Clement paved the way for one of the most prolific offenses in program
history from his spot on the line. An All-America selection from multiple
organizations, including a consensus pick during his senior campaign, the St.
Charles, La., native protected quarterback Stan Humphries on his way to
multiple ULM records.
Marlena Mossbarger
ULM's first women's basketball superstar,
Mossbarger accomplished more in three seasons on the court than many have in
their entire career. Three years after the program began, the Cedar Rapids,
Iowa, native averaged 23.18 points per game as a freshman. More than 25 years
later, her 1,557 points ? more than 500 per season ? ranks third in the
program's illustrious history.
Raymond Philyaw
Philyaw was the starting quarterback for ULM
as the program made its move to the Division I ranks and, by the end of his
four-year career, held the school's record for touchdown passes and 300-yard
games. More than 10 years after his collegiate playing days concluded, the
Shreveport, La., native still ranks third on the Warhawk career passing yards list
with over 7,000.
