Mike Rose

One of ULM's most consistent players ever, Rose ended his career ranked among the top five in scoring, rebounding, field goal accuracy and free throw accuracy. He also led the team in assists one year on his way to becoming team MVP three times. He is still ULM's career FT% leader at 83.4%, is seventh in scoring (1,474 points, 16.6 ppg), and seventh in rebounding (787 rebounds, 8.8 rpg). His season highs were 18.4 points and 10.2 rebounds.

Aubrey Wade
Coming to the Warhawks from Jones, Miss., Junior College, Wade became one of ULM's best broken field runners ever. He still has the longest run in ULM history, a 97 yard TD against Delta State in 1956. He finished that game with 137 yards in just four carries, an average of 34 yards per carry. He became ULM's first four-year-college all-American in 1956 and also the school's  initial first team all-GSC pick in football. He finished with 1,259 yards rushing in two years at ULM.

Dixie White
Producing ULM's first competitive football era as a four-year-college, White's Indians were 7-3 in both 1966 and 1967 and 6-4 in 1968. His teams still hold ULM defensive records for fewest yards allowed rushing (728 in 1968), least total offense allowed (201.7 in 1966) and fewest points allowed (101 in 1966 and 1968). His 1966 team was ULM's first to be ranked nationally, 8th in the Dunkel Index. While he was AD, ULM won three GSC All Sports Awards. Deceased, 1990.
