Henry W. Boyles
Woody began his football career as a blocking back in the single wing but became a T-formation quarterback for Jim Malone's Warhawks in 1947. He helped lead then-Northeast Junior College to a 7-2 record in 1947, including three wins over 4-year colleges and a 33-13 win in the Junior Sugar Bowl. Boyles coached under Malone from 1951-53, started the ULM baseball program in 1952, and later became a highly successful prep coach at several schools in North Louisiana. Deceased, 1987.

Eddie Kincaid
One of ULM's most accomplished baseball players ever, Kincaid was the school's first athlete to make all-conference four straight years. The talented catcher, who was the state's Player of the Year as a senior at Neville, helped carry ULM to its first GSC baseball title ever as a sophomore in 1964 and then again in 1966 when he was  co-captain and team MVP. Although a solid hitter, his forte was defense thanks to quickness and a rifle arm.

Roger Morgan

He didn't even participate in track until his senior year in high school, yet in his freshman year at the Naval Academy he tried the hurdles and quickly developed into a standout. He transferred to ULM in time to record the best 120-yard high hurdle time (13.7) in the country in 1964 and also tied for fourth best in the 330 yard hurdles (36.8). He became a two-time all-American, winning NAIA high hurdles national championships in both 1964 and 1965.

Stuart Toms
One of ULM's greatest point guards, Toms helped direct the Warhawks to their first league title (GSC, 1961-62). A great free throw shooter, he set a career school record at 82.8 and is still second. His 85.3 FT% in 1960-61 is still a single season best for 100 or more free throw attempts. Toms finished with 1,040 points (10.5) and as a senior he was third team all-America, first team all-GSC and the team's MVP when he led the Warhawks in scoring at 14.9 overall, 20.0 in GSC games.
