Despite a serious car accident as a freshman, Eiland became one of ULM's most accomplished runners while helping win three GSC team titles and produce two undefeated seasons. He won two GSC mile titles while setting the conference record, won the GSC 880 crown in record time and won the league cross country championship once. His converted times of 3:50.26 in the 1500 meters and 1:51.84 in the 800 meters still rank high among ULM leaders.

Al Miller

His 34 catches for 436 yards was a school record and he finished with 87 receptions for 1,061 yards, also records. He has gone on to become one of the NFL's top strength coaches and is currently with the Atlanta Falcons. Miller was the strength coach at several college, including ULM, and was one of the NFL's top strength coaches for 21 years with the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons, and New York Giants.

He went on to average 18.5 for his career, fifth best ever, and his 1,458 points is ninth best?but accomplished in just 79 games, less than any other player in the Top 10.
