Dalton LeBlanc
A tremendously versatile track athlete, LeBlanc won GSC titles in five events ? taking both hurdles races as a freshman, later winning the 100 yard dash and also competing on two winning relay units. He made the NAIA all-America team as a hurdler in 1964. After track, he played on ULM's fine 7-3 football team in 1966. He was also SGA President and named to Who's Who. In January 1998, he was inducted into the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame.


Robert Shelton
After winning the state junior championship in 1969, Shelton produced four solid years at ULM and his career average of 73.9 is second best all-time for the Warhawks. He averaged 74.8 in 1971, 73.8 in 1972, 72.9 in 1973 and 73.6 in 1974. He also earned all-America honors in 1971 when ULM finished sixth in the NCAA college division championships. He was team MVP in 1971 and co-MVP in 1974. In 1972 he won both the Louisiana Amateur and the Southern Collegiate titles.


Mike Thompson
Helping ULM finish as NAIA national runnerup in 1970, Thompson still ranks in the top 10 in nearly every season and career pitching category. He is second in wins (31), second in winning percentage 31-12 for (.721), second in ERA (1.43), second in innings pitched (312.1) and tied for third in starting assignments (34). He was named GSC Pitcher of the Year in 1970 when he went 10-3 with a 1.88 ERA and he was 2-0 in the NAIA Tournament.
