David Davis
A two-time all-conference pick who helped the Warhawks win two conference titles, he established numerous school pitching records including career ERA (1.99); single season ERA (1.22); career victories (20); career strikeouts (195 in 212.2 IP); and career shutouts (6). Many of those marks remain among the school's Top 10 today, over 30 years after he graduated.


Benny Hollins
Starting as a student manager in basketball, he eventually became the most successful Athletics Director in school history from 1982-94 while directing the University to seven All-Sports Trophies and overseeing the move to 1-A football before retiring in 1994. Hollis was also an assistant basketball coach (1971-79) and the head coach in 1980-81, winning the Atlantic Sun title in 1980.


Vic Minor
A four-year letterman and one of the Warhawks' top defensive players in history, he was chosen to the AP All-South Independent team in 1979 after intercepting six passes. He departed as the school's all-time pass interception leader with 15, a record he stills holds 23 years later. He later played in the NFL with Seattle and made all-USFL with Houston in 1985.


Roger Stockton

A two-time all-conference selection, he ended his playing career as the school's third leading scorer with 1,309 points. Still holds school record with 15 consecutive field goals made vs. Ole Miss. Was an assistant women's coach from 1983-90, then served as head coach from 1990-95. He had a 76-71 record and his 1993-94 team played in the Women's NIT.
