Claude Brawner
One of then-Northeast Junior College's finest linemen ever, Brawner was an honorable mention all-American in 1946 and then made UPI first team all-America in 1947 when helping carry the Warhawks to a 7-2 record that included a 33-13 win in the Junior Sugar Bowl. He later started in the defensive line at LSU. Brawner, who also played basketball at ULM, joined fellow Wynne, Ark., greats Bobby Kellogg and Hugh Taylor in the ULM Hall of Fame.


Andre Ester
One of ULM's most acclaimed jumpers ever, Ester made all-America four different times. He won NCAA indoor national long jump titles in 1987 and 1988, was sixth outdoors in 1987 and fourth outdoors in 1988. He still holds ULM's indoor long jump record of 26-8 1/4 and has an outdoor best of 27-7 1/4 (wind aided) at the 1987 Texas Relays. He led ULM to SLC indoor and outdoor titles in 1987 and 1988 and the Warhawks went 25-1 in 1986, 17-0 in 1987 and 16-0 in 1988.


Jackie Harris
One of ULM's finest receivers ever, Harris departed as the career reception leader with 147 catches for 2,107 yards and 12 TDs. During ULM's 1987 national championship season, he led the Warhawks with 37 catches for 709 yards then in the playoffs added 22 catches for 383 yards in four games. Made all-America as a junior and senior and was all-SLC and all-Louisiana three times. Harris enjoyed a long professional career in the NFL. Drafted in the fourth round by Green Bay in 1990 he played 12 years in the league with the Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans and Dallas Cowboys.
