Clark and Winkel Fall in Second Round at All-American Championships

LOS ANGELES – Claire Clark and Monica Winkel of the ULM women's tennis team bowed out of the ITA/Riviera Women's All-American Championships on Sunday (Oct. 3). Clark and Winkel fell in their second match after winning their opening match of the tournament.

The Warhawk duo faced fifth-seeded Samatha Adams and Kelsey Garland from Texas Tech on Sunday, dropping an 8-3 decision. Garland and Adams advanced to face Alison Ramos and Valeria Pulido of Southern California.

ULM will return to action next weekend as it hosts the Warhawk Classic on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 8-9, at Heard Stadium. Full brackets and schedules will be available later in the week.
