ULM Women's Golf in Fourth Following Opening Day of Samford University Women's Intercollegiate

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-Angela Drane fired a three-over-par 147 on the opening day of the Samford University Women's Intercollegiate golf tournament to lead ULM on Monday. Drane sits in third place following the opening two rounds and the Warhawks are in fourth at the 6,457-yard Limestone Springs Golf Course.

Drane carded the second best opening round score by shooting a 74 in the morning session before responding with a 73 in the second round. South Alabama's Fanny Eineren has the individual lead after shooting a two-round 139 and the Jaguars lead the team race by nine strokes over Jacksonville State, 600-609.

Lina Billing sits just one spot behind her teammate Drane in a tie for fourth after shooting a 149 on Monday. The rest of the field for the Warhawks includes Lina Lagergren (t-23rd), Taynee Pearson (t-31st) and Britany Hanna (t35th).

The tournament continues on Tuesday with the third and final round beginning at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start.
