MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. - Ali Lucas carded back-to-back birdies on the first two holes of the second round to spark a career-low three-under-par 69 Tuesday afternoon as the ULM women's golf team stayed put in 11^th place at the Club Glove Sun Belt Conference Championship on the par-72, 6,127 yard Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail Schoolmaster Course.

Lucas shot four birdies during a bogey-free front nine and had two more birdies on the backside to total a team-high six birdies for the day and defeat her personal best by one stroke. The freshman surged 27 places overall to move into a tie for 10^th individually with 147 total.

Karisa Akin of Middle Tennessee, Malin Lundberg of UALR and Kelly Drack and Tonje Daffinrud of Denver are deadlocked in a four-way tie for first at even-par 144 total.

ULM matched its first round score of 313 during Tuesday's second round to remain in 11^th place overall with 626 total. Denver held steady in first place with 294 for a combined 583 while Middle Tennessee made a move from fifth place to second overall with a tournament-low one-under-par 287. FIU completes the top-three at 592 total.

Lina Lagergren improved three strokes from the first round to shoot 79 and place 50^th overall with 161 total while Taynee Pearson carded 82 for a combined 160 to tie for 48^th individually. Lina Billing and Britany Hanna both sit tied for 51^st overall with 162 total entering the final round.
