EAST LANSING, Mich. - The ULM Warhawks are in 14th place after 36 holes played in the Mary Fossum Invitational, hosted by Michigan State University. ULM's stroke total is at 628 and 50 off the pace set by Purdue (288-290--578).
Freshman Alison Knowles is currently the lowest ranked ULM golfer, tied-for-30th (76-78--154). Sophomore Kathy Sterling posted the low round for the Warhawks, carding a three-over-par 75 in the opening round. Sterling scratched three birdies across today's two rounds, while Knowles chipped in two.
Purdue's Paula Reto (69-73), Kishi Sinha (71-71), and Texas State's Krista Puisite (71-71) are tied for the tournament lead with a 142.
