FRISCO, Texas – As part of its 50th anniversary commemoration, the Southland Conference announced its All-Time Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Honor Rolls and selected 12 student-athletes and one head coach from ULM.
The Warhawks were a member of the Southland Conference from 1982-2006. ULM won three indoor championships on the men's side in 1986, 1987 and 1988, and the women won twice in 1987 and 1989.
The men's honor roll included 101 elite student-athletes in the sport going back to 1970, even though the Southland held its first indoor championship meet in 1980. The Southland began sponsoring an indoor championship for women in 1987, and that honoree list included 74 all-time standouts.
