MONROE, La. – The ULM women's golf program released its schedule Wednesday for the 2013-2014 season. The Warhawks' schedule includes four tournaments this fall along with the Sun Belt Conference Preview, followed by six tournaments in the spring.
The Warhawks will kick-off the season at Michigan State University, for the Mary Fossum Invitational (Sept. 14-15). The following week, ULM will host the 2013 ULM Fred Marx Invitational (Sept. 23-24).
October includes a trip to Jonesboro, Ark., for the Arkansas State Tournament (Oct. 14-15) and a trip to Gulf Shores, Ala., for the UAB Fall Beach Blast (Oct. 28-29). The Warhawks will wrap up the fall with the Sun-Belt Preview held in Mobile, Ala. (Nov. 3-5).
The second half of the season begins for the Warhawks Feb. 9-11 at the Le Triomphe Tournament held at McNeese State University. Two weeks later, the Warhawks will travel to the University of South Alabama for the 2013 Lady Jaguar Invitational (Feb. 24-25).
The final three tournaments for the women's golf team include trips to Mississippi and Texas. The Warhawks will open March with the 2014 Lady Eagle Invitational in Hattiesburg, Miss., (March 10-11). ULM will then travel to Baton Rouge, La., for the LSU Golf Classic March 21-23 before closing out the regular season in Houston, Texas., at the HBU Women's Intercollegiate (March 31- April 1).
The SBC Championship will be held in Mobile, Ala., April 15-17. The location of the NCAA Regionals (May 9-11) and NCAA National Championship (May 21-25) are still TBD.
