Box Score MONROE, La. -- The ULM tennis program fell on the short end of a 4-2 decision Thursday afternoon at Raymond Heard Stadium despite rallying for and winning the doubles point.
After the two teams split the first and third flights, the Warhawks' No. 2 tandem of Petra Horakova and Angela Tejedor helped give ULM ( the doubles point by taking a super tiebreaker, 7-5.
Tejedor also won a tiebreaker to give the Warhawks their lone point from singles competition, edging McNeese's Viven Borbely, 6-7, 5-7 (10-8). Tejedor was the only Warhawk to go undefeated on the day.
ULM returns to action Saturday for an 11 a.m. contest against Texas State at Heard Stadium.
