WACO, Texas – ULM concluded its second consecutive fall trip to a Baylor tournament with Caitlin Herb, Tiffany Mylonas and Ioana Popescu all getting action in the tournament's final day.
Mylonas fell 3-6, 3-6 to Theresa Van Zyl, the eighth-ranked Bears' No. 5 singles player. Petra Horakova had defeated her earlier in the tournament.
Herb fell 0-6, 3-6 to Baylor's Elizabeth Profit and Popescu narrowly missed in a 1-6, 6-4, 7-10 defeat to Gabi Ferreira, also from the host school.
The Warhawks continue their gauntlet on Thursday in Auburn, Ala., for the ITA Regional Championships. The lineups for that one will be announced later in the week.
