Baton Rouge, La. – The ULM Men's Golf Team battled the final round on Sunday in Baton Rouge against a tough field ultimately ending up finishing in seventh place in the David Toms Intercollegiate. LSU was the winning team on Sunday as the only team to shoot under par for the event.
NOTABLES
-Thibault Santigny paced the Warhawks on Sunday shooting a one-under par 71. His round was highlighted by three straight birdies on holes 17,18 and one, which led to his 71 on the day.
-Andoni Etchenique was the second-best Warhawk on Sunday as he shot a plus-three 75. Etchenique highlight of the day was two birdies on the fifth and ninth holes.
-Hogan Arey and Joao Girao both posted plus-eight scores of 80 on the afternoon. Arey's day was highlighted by a one-under on the back nine which included two birdies. Girao had three birdies in a five-hole stretch which helped lead him to posting a even par 36 on the front nine today.
-Jeffrey Berry rounded out the Warhawks group on Sunday posting a plus-12 score. He highlighted his afternoon by posting a single birdie on the seventh hole of the afternoon.
UP NEXT
-ULM now prepares to host the Duck Commander Intercollegiate in El Dorado, Ark. The tournament hosted by the Warhawks will be held October 30-November 1.
