ULM Head Coach Tim Baldwin

Thought on the Tournament as a whole: Obviously extremely happy for Hogan as he had a tremendous tournament shooting 73 in the final round. His first top five as a collegiate player and I hope he can carry this into the spring season. Also happy for Thibault as a freshman. Shooting what he did in the final round was huge and we have to continue to build on what these young guys are doing. Dissapointed as a team to finish were we did as we had a multiple shot lead and just ran into some tough spots on the golf course and in the end had to count a high score. With the mishaps we had earlier in the event it would have made the difference so that is what it came down to. It is something we have to prepare now for the spring.

Arkansas State Head Coach Mike Hagen

Thought on teams performance winning the event: Our fall has been a little up and down with some young guys coming in. I knew we had the talent and were just one score short all the time and to go out and do what we did in the first two rounds I was excited to be in the mix. Just to have a chance against such a strong field going into our final round of the fall is exciting. I felt comfortable coming into today with having this chance to win the event.

UP NEXT

-ULM will now look ahead to the spring season with their first event of the spring coming in late February when it plays in the Atchafalaya Intercollegiate.
