Landberg Posts Season-Low 72 in Final Round of Panther Intercollegiate

Women's Golf

ATLANTA –  Freshman Olivia Landberg shot an even 72 and jumped 23 spots on the leaderboard as the ULM women's golf team wrapped up play at the John Kirk/Panther Intercollegiate inside Eagle's Landing Country Club.

Landberg's 72 marks the Warhawks' lowest 18-hole score of the 2015-16 season. She notched two birdies on the par-4 seventh and par-3 11th and two bogeys on the par-4 fifth and 17th. Landberg ended the tournament in a two-way tie for 40th, but her score did not count towards the ULM team total because she was competing as an individual.

Junior Devanshi Naik contributed the lowest score of the final round towards the team total at 6-over 78. After starting the round with five straight bogeys, she settled in to complete the final 13 holes at 1-over which included three birdies and four bogeys.

Following Naik was freshman Ashton Maddaloni (+11) and juniors Lesley Atkins (+13), RaeChelle Leiken (+14) and Michaela Osborne (+14). Atkins and Maddaloni recorded one birdie each in the final round of play.
