HATTIESBURG, MS. – The ULM Men's Golf team started out the fall season with a strong performance in The Sam Hall Intercollegiate as they won the event by four shots over the 54 hole tournament.
NOTABLES
-Andoni Etchenique paced the Warhawks throughout the two-day event with a four-under par score for the event. His second round was the strongest as he posted a six-under 65 which featured seven birdies and a lone bogey.
-Hogan Arey was a close second for the Warhawks as he posted a two under par score for the event. Similar to Etchenique, his strongest round came on Monday afternoon as he posted a four-under 67 which featured five birdies and a lone bogey as well.
-Joad Girro posted a two-over par score in his 54 holes at The Sam Hall Intercollegiate. His second round was similar to Arey's as he posted a four-under 67 which had him make six birdies.
-Thibault Santigny finished fourth of the Warhawks as he posted a six-over score in the two-day event. His first round of the tournament was his strongest as he had a four birdies and three bogies in route to a one under score of 70.
- Jeffrey Berry was the fifth in scoring for ULM in Hattiesburg this week posting a seven-over par score for the 54 hole event. He had his best round in today's action as he posted a three-under score with five birdies and just a mere two bogies on the day.
UP NEXT
-ULM will now prepare for the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate which is set to tee off next Monday. The two-day event will be held in Choudrant, La.
