Birmingham, Ala. – The ULM men's and women's track & field teams had a successful event in the final tune up for the Sun Belt Indoor Championships led by Levaughn Battick's win in the 60 meter hurdles.
NOTABLES
-Battick won the 60 meter hurdles on Saturday with an impressive time of 8.07 second which was also a new personal best.
-Lebrun Nelson had an impressive performance in the men's triple jump on Saturday, registering a 14.93 meter jump to finish third in the event.
-in the men's high jump, Rodney Harrison lead the way for ULM with a 1.90 meter jump to tie for fourth in the event. Lebrun Nelson and Austin Walker both finished just behind him with 1.85 meter jumps.
-In the women's weight throw, the Warhawks saw Dominique Allen finish eighth with a 15.78 meter throw. Allen also finished in seventh in the shot put with a 12.86 meter throw.
-In the men's Shot Put the Warhawks had a pair of competitors finish back-to-back in seventh and eighth as Kyle Weiss and Micah Dye had tosses of 15.89 meters and 14.52 meters respectively.
-Kourtni Russell posted a fourth place performance in the women's 60 meter hurdles with her time of 9.07 seconds.

-ULM now begins preparations for the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships which are set to begin on Monday February 20.
