Monroe, La. – The ULM tennis team returns to the friendly confines of Heard Stadium on Saturday when the Warhawks welcome in SBC foe Georgia Southern for a Senior Day matchup.
NOTABLES
-Prior to Saturday's match, the Warhawks will honor their lone senior Petra Horakova at approximately 1:15 p.m. on court at Heard Stadium.
-The Warhawks enter Saturday's matchup with the Eagles coming off a 4-0 win over Texas State last Friday in Jonesboro.
-The Eagles enter the weekend with a pair of matches slated as they will face Jackson State on Friday at 1:00 p.m. As they enter the weekend Georgia Southern is currently on a five-game losing skid, including dropping both of their SBC matches against South Alabama and Georgia State last weekend at home.
-Last season, these two teams met in Statesboro for a matchup that saw Georgia Southern win by a 4-2 score.
-Overall, the Warhawks are 2-1 against the Eagles. The Warhawks won 4-3 in their meeting prior to last season in the 2015 SBC championships first round game.
