Warhawks With A Strong Sixth Place Showing After 36 Holes

Results after Round Two: ULM 6th

Richmond, Ky. - The ULM women's golf team opened the Colonel Classic with a strong 36 holes of golf on Friday, highlighted by a 309 team score in the opening round and a sixth place result after the opening two rounds.

NOTABLES

-Olivia Landberg led the Warhawks on Friday after an opening round 74. She highlighted her opening round by going plus-one on each side with three birdies on holes eight, 13 and 15. She wrapped up Friday with a second round 78, picking up her lone birdie on the 18th hole. Landberg goes to tomorrow's final round sitting in eighth place on the individual side of the tournament.

-Shani White was second for the team on Friday, opening the tournament with a 76 by picking up her lone birdie on the seventh hole and playing the back nine in an impressive one-over par 37. In White's second nine, she posted a 79 with her lone birdie coming on the 10th hole as she bounced back from a front nine 41 with a back nine 38. White's in a tie for 13th after today's 36 holes.

-Devanshi Naik opened Friday with a 79 in the first round. Naik was able to improve her second round score with a plus-five score of 77 as she picked up a pair of birdies on holes No. 7 and No.13. Naik sits in a tie for 15th after the first 36 holes.

-Scarlett Eaton opened Friday with an 80 in the first round. Eaton picked up a pair of birdies on the fifth and 13th holes and was able to play the back nine of the course at plus-one. Eaton struggled in her second round on the way to a 84.

-Michaela Osborne had a rough day, posting an 82 in her opening round which featured no birdies. She followed her opening round up with a 86 in the second round.

-Playing as an individual for the second straight tournament, Lesley Atkins opened play on Friday with a 89 and followed that up with a round of 84.

UP NEXT

-The Warhawks will be on the course tomorrow morning with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. for the final round of the Colonel Classic.
