2018 Watson Ford Invitational / Final 6K Results - Women
CLINTON, Miss. –
Edith Jebet earned her second Top 10 finish of the cross country season on Saturday, Oct. 6 when she crossed the line in ninth in the 6K at the Watson Ford Invitational, hosted by Mississippi College. The Warhawk men's team was highlighted by
Elias Keter, who placed 14th on the 8K Choctaw Trails course.

Jebet, ULM's top women's finisher, completed the course in a time of 23:54.50, averaging 6:32.7 per mile in the process. She was one of two Warhawk women in the Top 20, along with
Sharon Jerono, who posted a time of 24:24.00 to claim 14th. That duo helped ULM place eighth in the women's race with a total of 175 points.

Top individual honors in the women's race went to Mississippi Valley State's Scolasticah Kemei, who posted a time of 21:48.20 as she averaged 5:50.9 per mile. Kemei edged out the Troy tandem of Caroline Sall and Kara Coulter, who finished second and third, respectively. However, Troy took home the team title in the women's race with 41 points and five Top 20 finishes.

N'Finity Lindley put together a solid performance for ULM, turning in a time of 29:06.60 as she finished 54th. Teammate
Kennedy Smith followed shortly after (29:10.70) as she crossed the line 55th.

The three remaining women for the Warhawks were
Madison Trahan (54:01.00; 76th), Naiya Fant (54:02.00; 77th) and Namyanka Randle (54:03.00; 78th).

Keter capitalized on a time of 26:24.86, averaging 5:18.9 per mile, to earn top honors for the Warhawks.
Brandon McDonald posted a season best by 25 seconds, crossing the line in 27:10.02 to place 22nd.

Kevin Dietrich followed with a 32nd-place finish as he completed the course in 28:47.87. Exactly two seconds later,
Eric Hawkins came through with a career-best performance by nearly 40 seconds at 28:49.87 to take 34th place.

Cameron Tingle rounded out the five runners for the ULM men's unit, placing 44th with a time of 30:01.33.

The Warhawks placed fifth in the men's team standings with 129 points, while top honors went to Tarleton State, who had six Top 10 finishers including race winner Quenten Lasseter.

"We ran a good team race, which has been our focus now as we get closer to the Sun Belt Conference Championships," ULM assistant coach
Chris Warren said. "We still have lots of things to work on, but we're very optimistic."
