MONROE, La. – ULM is sitting pretty on the bus to Birmingham this weekend as they have a five-game win streak in its pocket on the way to UAB's Blazer Beach Duals. The Warhawks are scheduled to play UAB and Central Arkansas on day 1 (Mar.16) and then No.17 Tulane on Saturday (Mar.17).
ULM has had much success in the threes spot, with pair
Rebecca Brown and
Catherine Griffith who have competed against the toughest of opponents and are now standing at 7-1 as a duo.

Holland Ponthieux and freshman
Taylor Meyer have paired well this season, seeing triumph and progress over the past eight matches.
The Warhawks will kick off tournament play against host-team UAB on Friday at 8 a.m. UAB is hosting the Blazer Beach Duals after finishing 3-1 at UNO's Invitational in New Orleans earlier this month. Like ULM, the Blazer's defeated Jacksonville State, Spring Hill, and New Orleans during the invitational. Their only loss came in a 1-4 defeat against Houston Baptist.
Central Arkansas will be ULM's third Southland Conference opponent of the season; falling to Houston Baptist, 1-4 in the season opener (Feb.24) and then defeating New Orleans, 3-2 at their invitational (Mar.2). UCA will be opening their season at UAB this weekend, after finishing the 2016-17 season with a 14-3 record, sweeping ULM in the season closer. The Warhawks and Sugar Bears are scheduled to start at 4 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
ULM will close out Blazer Beach Tournament with an 8 a.m. match against No.17 Tulane on Saturday (Mar.17). The Green Wave is traveling to Birmingham after most recently falling to Cal (0-5) and beating out Arizona State (3-2) at the Stanford Invitational (Mar.10). Tulane and ULM have a common opponent in TCU; the Green Wave managed a 3-2 win over No.14 TCU at Fight in the Fort (Mar.3).
