MONROE, La. - ULM Director of Athletics
Scott McDonald recently announced the hiring of Lee Denny as Assistant Athletics Director for Fundraising and Development.
Denny graduated from ULM in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance and economics, and has been self-employed since age 22. He serves as President of the East Carroll Police Jury and has previously served on the Ways and Means Committee and Chair of the Sanitation Committee. He is also the Deputy Port Director of the Lake Providence Port, one of the largest inland river ports in the country.
"We are excited to add Lee Denny to our team," McDonald said. "His background, work experience and knowledge of the community will help him make an immediate impact. The feedback received from the Warhawk community has been tremendous."
Denny is a graduate of the Delta Leadership Institute, and serves on the Executive Board of the ULM Athletic Foundation. He also served on the Head Football Coach Search Committee. Denny also serves on the Ouachita River Valley Association Board, and is the Co-Chairman of the Arkansas Louisiana Multimodal Economic Corridor.
He is married to Anna Stephenson Denny, and has two daughters, Sydney and Anna Grace.
