MONROE, La. – Jacob Agerschou, a sophomore from New Mexico Junior College, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend ULM and compete in men's golf in 2021-22.
"I'm pleased to announce the signing of Jacob Agerschou, who will join our men's golf team in August 2021," ULM Director of Golf Tim Baldwin said. "Jacob will be a fine addition as a transfer from New Mexico Junior College in Hobbs, New Mexico. He had an excellent year as a freshman in 2019-20 with a 71.13 stroke average in six tournaments, including an individual win at the TankLogix after shooting an impressive 12-under-par 201 at Green Tree Country Club. Jacob also had an outstanding summer, including multiple top finishes in the Danish Amateur Circuit. He is ranked No. 515 in the Scratch Players Amateur Rankings.

A native of Horsens, Denmark, Agerschou posted a 71.13 scoring average over 15 rounds, including four in the 60s. He recorded three Top 5 finishes, including an individual title with a 12-under-par 201 at the TankLogix Invite (66-66-69) in Midland, Texas. The 5-foot-10 Agerschou claimed fifth at the Cactus Thaw with a 3-under 141 (72-69) and fourth in the Dr. Pepper Classic with a 2-under 142 (70-72).
Last summer, he finished fifth in the Danish National Match Play Championship and seventh in the Danish National Stroke Play Championship with a 3-over-par 216.
Agerschou graduated from Horsens State (High) School in 2019.
