Women's Golf
MONROE, La. – Charlotte Fourdraine, the 90th-ranked female amateur golfer in France, has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend ULM and complete in women's golf in 2020-21.

"I'm very pleased to announce the signing of Charlotte Fourdraine to our ladies' team for the 2020-21 season," ULM Director of Golf Tim Baldwin said.

"Charlotte is a tough competitor, who's technically very sound. She has an excellent short game and a great attitude. Her strengths also include course management and poise, so she'll certainly contribute right away.

"Charlotte also is an exceptional student, who takes great pride in her studies," Baldwin continued. "She's a perfect example of the caliber of student-athlete we look for at ULM."

Fourdraine had a 76.5 stroke average and a French handicap of 1.6 in 2019-20. The Lachassagne, France, native had nine Top-10 finishes in 17 events in 2019, including four Top-5 performances and one win.

"I really enjoyed my visit at ULM a few months ago" Fourdraine said. "I feel that it is the perfect place to be for a student-athlete. I loved meeting the team and visiting the impressive golf and athletic facilities.

"I'm looking forward to joining the team in the fall. I hope to develop my technical and mental skills to reach my highest level in golf and to become an asset for the Warhawks."

Fourdraine becomes the third member of ULM's 2020 recruiting class, joining Alessia Mengoni (Rome, Italy) and Kaitlyn Montoya (Shreveport, Louisiana).
