ULM’s Top 20 Individual Performances, Presented by VCOM-Louisiana

A list of ULM's Top 20 Individual Performances in 2019-20 was compiled by Senior Associate Athletics Director John Lewandowski, Associate Athletic Communications Director Mike Hammett, ULMWarhawks.com Online Columnist Paul Letlow and the play-by-play "Voice of the Warhawks" Nick White.
 
The list of ULM's Top 20 Individual Performances, is presented by VCOM-Louisiana (Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine), and fifth-year senior linebacker Cortez Sisco Jr. continues the countdown at No. 11.
 
No. 11 | Cortez Sisco Jr. recorded a career-high 19 tackles and an interception in ULM's 45-42 win over Coastal Carolina. Sisco tallied eight stops on Coastal's first two drives of the game and finished the first half with 18 tackles.
 
No. 12 | Jahaanvie Walia finished third overall with a 5-under-par 211 (69-73-69) at the South Alabama Intercollegiate. Walia's first- and third-round scores matched her lowest-personal round. In the final round, she produced third birdies and 15 pars.
 
No. 13 | Danny DeSimone hits two grand slams in the COVID-19 shortened season, one against Southeast Missouri State on Feb. 15 and one against Southeastern Louisiana on Feb. 26.
 
No. 14 | Alix Christie produced a .737 hitting percentage in a three-set win against Grambling State in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Christie recorded 14 kills on 19 attempts with zero errors.
 
No. 15 | Caleb Evans accounted for 401 yards total offense and four touchdowns to lead ULM to a 45-31 Sun Belt Conference victory over Georgia State. He completed 24-of-32 throws for 291 yards and three scores. Evans also had 16 carries for 110 yards, including a 16-yard TD run in the first quarter.
 
No. 16 | Chloe Carenza recorded a career-high 35 digs in ULM's five-set win at Little Rock, ending a 34-match losing streak against the Trojans. Her 35 digs marked the most by a Warhawk since Kacey LeBlanc tallied 39 against Little Rock in 2016.
 
No. 17 | Sam Healy placed second in the men's long jump at the 2020 Sun Belt Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships with a mark of 24-3 1/2. He finished an inch behind Texas State's Ronnie Briscoe Jr. while improving upon his third-place showing in the event in 2019. Healy scored 13 team points in the 2020 Sun Belt Indoor Championships after also claiming fourth in the 60-meter hurdles (personal-record time of 8.16).
 
No. 18 | In the 2019 season opener against Grambling, Josh Johnson rushed 10 times for 173 yards, including TD runs of 51 and 37 yards. On his first carry of the season, Johnson scored on a 51-yard run up the middle as the Warhawks jumped out to a 7-0 lead late in the first quarter. He iced the game with a 37-yard TD run around left end early in the third quarter.
 
No. 19 | Andrew Beesley went 2-for-3, including a double and grand slam, and collected six RBI in ULM's 23-5 win over Southeastern Louisiana. Beesley also scored four runs.
 
No. 20 | Otto Van Buynder led four Warhawk golfers who placed inside the Top 20 as ULM claimed the Border Olympics title. Van Buynder wrapped up play tied for eighth at 1-under-par 215 (74-70-71). He capped off his third-round performance by recording 11 pars and four birdies on the third, fourth, seventh and 13th greens.
