Inclement Weather Forces Postponement of All-American Intercollegiate

MONROE, La. – Due to inclement winter weather expected to affect a large part of the southern United States, including the Houston metro-area, the University of Houston men's golf program announced the postponement of the All-American Intercollegiate.
 
Temperatures are expected to fall into the teens with ice and wintry mix being possible throughout the area in the coming days.
 
The tournament would have been ULM's second tournament of the spring and sixth of the 2020-21 season when the opening round of the All-American was set to begin in Humble, Texas on Sunday, Feb. 14.
 
The Warhawks, who are ranked No. 26 nationally by Golfstat.com, were one of 19 teams set to appear in the event. Nine other programs set to participate in the tournament field are ranked inside the Top-50 by Golfstat.com including: No. 7 Texas A&M, No. 14 Oklahoma State, No. 18 Texas, No. 23 Oklahoma, No. 25 Baylor, No. 33 UT Arlington, No. 36 Ragin' Cajuns, No. 41 Louisiana Tech and No. 43 Lamar.
 
The University of Houston will be working with the teams and the Golf Club of Houston to reschedule the tournament in March.
