Otto Van Buynder bookended the 36th Annual Louisiana Classics with a third-round 71 Tuesday as he finished in a three-way tie for 13th place with an even-par 216. It marked his sixth Top-20 finish of the season.

Van Buynder reached even par with a 1-under-par score on Tuesday after recording two birdies and 15 pars in the third roun.

Guillaume Fanonnel was closely behind his teammate, finishing at 1-over-par 217, good for a tie for 16th place. Fanonnel, who had a 74 on the final day, has finished inside the Top 20 in four tournaments this season. His third-round scorecard included five birdies, the most of any ULM player on the day, and seven pars. He notched three birdies in succession at the 10th, 11th and 12th holes.

The individual crown went to Illinois' Jerry Ji, who finished 13-under-par 203 for 54 holes. Ji notched three sub-70 rounds in succession, carding 68, 69 and 66, en route to the crown. Joined by teammates Adrien Dumont de Chassart and Michael Feagles atop the leaderboard, the trio helped the No. 5-ranked Illini claim the team title with a 41-under-par score of 823 (282-273-268).

ULM placed fifth with a 9-over-par 873 following rounds of 289, 291 and 293. The Warhawks have now finished among the Top 10 in 10-straight tournaments.

Both
Melan Dhaubhadel and
Andoni Etchenique finished tied for 45th with a 7-over-par 223. Dhaubhadel's third-round 75 was highlighted by 13 pars and a birdie on the 10th hole. Etchenique emerged with six pars and three birdies as he carded a 79 on Tuesday.

Michael Gilbert put together a solid round for the Warhawks, closing out the tournament with a 73, the second-lowest score by a Warhawk on Tuesday. Gilbert tallied the second-most birdies of the third round, four, one off the pace set by Fanonnel. Along with coming through with an eagle at 11, Gilbert carded birdies on the fourth, 10th, 13th and 14th holes. He closed with a 15-over-par 231 and placed 73rd overall.

Next, ULM heads to Eugene, Oregon, for the Duck Invitational, scheduled for March 22-23.
