MONROE, La. – Four ULM women's golfers were named Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars Tuesday morning.

Line Petersen,
Jahaanvie Walia and
Shani White each earned academic All-American Scholar awards. It marks the third consecutive season Walia and White have been honored, while Bjornsdottir earned the achievement for the second consecutive season.
To be eligible for All-American Scholar honors, NCAA Division I student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior or senior academically and maintain at least a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average.

Tim Baldwin said. "Each have excelled academically and were instrumental in our success this year both on and off of the golf course."
Bjornsdottir competed in seven tournaments in 2021, playing 20 rounds with a 76.55 stroke average. She led the team in par-3 scoring (3.13) and was third in fairways hit (.723) and birdie conversion (.187). She shot a career-best 69 in the second round of the Bama Beach Bash and had the first Top-5 finish of her career when she placed fifth with a 2-over-par 218 at the UT Arlington Invitational.
Petersen played in four tournaments as a second-year freshman. She had the best finish of her young career at the UT Arlington Invitational, where she tied for 11th at 8-over-par 224. She was third on the team with a 76.25 scoring average.
Walia had the second-lowest scoring average on the squad in 2020-21 at 74.87 while draining 67 birdies, also good for second on the team. She played in eight tournaments, placing in the Top-3 twice with a pair of fourth place finishes at the Hoover Invitational and UT Arlington Invitational. She shot an even-par 216 at the UTA Invite. Her four-under-par 68 in the second round of the Texas State Invitational was the best individual round by a Warhawk on the season.
White played in eight tournaments in her senior season with a 76.35 scoring average and ranked third on the team with 43 birdies. She had three Top-20 finishes, including a season-best eighth place finish at the 2021 Cardinal Challenge hosted by Lamar, shooting an 11-over-par 227.
