Warhawk Track Set for Vanderbilt Invitational

MONROE, La. – The ULM men's and women's indoor track and field teams return to action Friday and Saturday at the Vanderbilt Invitational in Nashville.
 
Events begin with the heptathlon at 11 a.m. Friday, with field events getting underway at 3 p.m. and track events starting at 5:30 p.m. The heptathlon resumes at 10 a.m. Saturday with field events at 11 and track events at noon. Live streaming of the meet is on SEC Network + both days.
 
The Warhawks are coming off the season-opening Ted Nelson Invitational at Texas A&M. Eunice Ilunga Mbuyi won the triple jump and Briana Sam claimed the weight throw title for the women. Kimone Campbell was second in the 800 meters and Brittney Roberson was third in the 400. The women's 4x400 relay also placed third. For the men, Juwan Blignaut was second in the one mile run and Jakob Fudge was second in the weight throw. Chapman Bazer was third in the weight throw and Keith Robinson was third in the 60.
