LAFAYETTE, La. – The ULM tennis team wrapped up the fall season on Friday at the Ragin' Cajun Invitational.
The Warhawks finished with a 7-1 mark in singles play and 2-1 record in doubles play in the event, with four singles players finishing unbeaten.
Giovanna Pereira won both of her matches, defeating New Orleans' Kateryna Kalistratova (6-2, 6-3) and the Cajuns' Angelique Berrat (6-4, 6-3).
Alessandra Anghel won a pair of matches, defeating Southern Miss' Clara Tardivel (6-2, 6-3) and McNeese's Emma-Lou Pommiers (7-6 [6], 6-4).
Alice Klinteby took two wins, knocking off McNeese's Ariane Monlleo Sanchis (6-4, 6-2) and UNO's Audelia Morin Kougoucheff (7-5, 6-2).
Tamara Bachmann won her only singles match of the event, defeating UNO's Ksenia Reznitskaya (6-4, 7-5).
Mackenzie King lost her only singles match against the Cajuns' Angel Santiago (6-2, 6-3).
In doubles play, Klinteby and Pereira defeated McNeese's Monlleo Sanchis and Natalia Ballo, 6-3. Bachman and King beat UNO's Kouchnareva and Reznitskaya, 7-6 (12). Anghel and Oleksandra Balaba dropped a 6-3 decision to Southern Miss' Suhana Das and Tardivel.
ULM begins the spring dual season on Jan. 19 at Ole Miss.
