Keith Robinson was named Sun Belt Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week Wednesday morning, as announced by the SBC office.
The award is voted on by the conference's head coaches. It is the first weekly honor of Robinson's career.
Robinson placed second in the 60 meter dash at Saturday's Samford Bulldog Open, setting a new personal-best time of 6.77 seconds. His time ranks second in the SBC this season, behind Little Rock's Cameron Jackson at 6.74 seconds.
Robinson and the Warhawks are set to compete at the SBC Indoor Track and Field Championships Monday and Tuesday at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
