MONROE, La. – The ULM track and field team makes its second trip to LSU this weekend, the first of the outdoor season, where the Warhawks will take part in the Battle on the Bayou on Saturday, April 2.
ULM made a trip to Baton Rouge earlier this season on February 4th, where the Warhawks grabbed 15 Top-5 finishes at Bayou Bengal, hosted by LSU at Carl Maddox Field House.

Alivia Busch brought home a pair of Top-3 finishes in the shot put and weight throw for ULM in Baton Rouge
The Warhawks are making the quick turnaround to the track after taking part in the Texas Relays and Bobcat Invitational last weekend, earning 20 Top-10 finishes along the way.
Saturday's meet begins at 9:30 a.m., starting with Busch and
Brianna Washington in action at the women's discus. The running events are scheduled for a 1 p.m. start with the women's and men's 4×100 meter relay.
Last weekend,
Eunice Ilunga Mbuyi finished first in the triple jump, posting a personal best and a new school record with a jump of 43-5 3/4. This is her second title of the outdoor season.
The women's distance medley relay team of
Kimone Campbell,
Brittney Roberson,
Amanda Radava and
Eliana Battle also broke the school record last weekend in 12:01.52.
