MONROE, La.- The ULM track and field team will continue the 2022 outdoor season this weekend with the Warhawk Classic at Groseclose Track at Brown Stadium.
The meet will start at 3 p.m. Friday with the women's hammer throw while running events start at 6 p.m. with the women's 1500 meters. Saturday's field events begin at 11 a.m. with the women's javelin with running events starting at 12:30 p.m. with the women's 3000-meter steeplechase.
Both the women's and men's 4x100 meter relay will open up this weekend at their own track. On the women's side Savana Lawson, Olaia Becerril Alvarez, Brittney Roberson and Fiebe Tengrootenhuysen will be competing in the 4x100 meter relay. On the men's side it will be Keith Robinson, Joseph White, Jhavonte Perry and Brandon Lewis.
Roberson and Tengrootenhuysen will also compete in the 4x400 meter relay along with Jasmine Williams and Stella Konstantinidou. The men will open up this weekend in the 4x400 meter relay with Joseph White, Juan Loredo, Eric Hawkins and Brandon Lewis.
Hannah Blood, Aliva Bush and Brianna Sam will compete Friday in the women's hammer throw. Blood and Bush both had a personal best last week at the War Eagle Invitational. Blood had a throw of 190-8 and Bush had a heave of 156-10.
