MONROE, La. – The ULM men's golf team tees off in the Mossy Oak Collegiate, hosted by Mississippi State, at Mossy Oak Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi, on Monday morning. The tournament features 36 holes on Monday followed by 18 on Tuesday.
Using the natural rolling hills of Mississippi's Black Prairie to challenge golfers, the 7,212-yard, par-72 course at Mossy Oak Golf Club was designed by Gil Hanse. The course features a walk through native oak trees and grasses with elevation changes and expansive views.
Also competing in the tournament are Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Auburn, LSU, Florida State, UAB, Kansas State, Memphis, South Alabama, Middle Tennessee, Arkansas State, Southern Miss, Louisiana Tech, the Ragin' Cajuns, Michigan, Lipscomb and Chattanooga.

Winkler has played in seven tournaments this season with a team-best 73.1 scoring average among qualifying golfers. He has four Top-20 finishes, including a 14th-place finish at the All-American in his last tournament, where he shot a 2-over-par 146 (73-73) in the weather-shortened tournament. He also leads the team in last-round average (71.57), par-4 scoring (4.13), par-5 scoring (4.66), birdies (68), subpar strokes per round (3.60) and birdie conversion (.282).
Dhaubhadel has played in four tournaments this season with a 73.0 scoring average. He has a fourth-place finish at the Little Rock Invitational. He finished tied for 23rd at the All-American at 4-over-par 148 (75-73).
Agerschou has played in seven tournaments with a 73.35 scoring average. He has two Top-20 finishes, including a sixth-place finish at the Border Olympics, where he shot even-par 216. He was 43rd at the All-American at 7-over-par 151 (75-76). He leads the team in first-round average (72.43), par-3 scoring (3.09), pars per round (11.0), bogeys per round (3.2), fairways hit (.668), putting par (0.6), greens in regulation (.686) and greens-in-regulation within 15 feet (.483).
Van Buynder has played in seven tournaments with a 73.65 scoring average. He has two Top-20 finishes, including a career-best runner-up finish at the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate where he shot 1-under-par 215 (74-73-68). He was 40th at the All-American at 6-over-par 150 (78-72). He leads the team in double bogeys per round (0.2), average putts (30.8), putts on greens in regulation (1.847), non-sand up and downs (.671), sand saves (.565) and total short game (.646).
Balbastre is playing in just his second collegiate tournament and first of the spring season after finishing with a 233 at the Graeme McDowell Invitational in the fall.
