Warhawk Track & Field Earns USTFCCCA Academic Honors

MONROE, La. – Both ULM men's and women's track and field teams were named All-Academic Teams by the United State Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Wednesday, July 13.
 
In addition, Cole McKnight, Keith Robinson and Hannah Blood were each named All-Academic Athletes by the USTFCCCA.
 
For teams to be named an All-Academic Team, the cumulative grade-point average for all student-athletes on the institution's NCAA squad list for indoor and outdoor track and field must be 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period. The ULM men's track and field team had a cumulative GPA of 3.19, while the women posted a 3.09 GPA.
 
Individuals must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, and must have completed at least two semesters at the nominating institution. Also, student-athletes must have finished the season ranked in the top 96 in any championship individual event or in the top 48 in any championship relay event for the most recent indoor season. Student-athletes must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
 
McKnight was named an All-Academic Athlete while working on his Master of Business Administration while Robinson and Blood are pursuing a bachelor's degree in kinesiology.
