Four Warhawks Earn Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar Honors

MONROE, La. – Four ULM men's golfers were named Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America on Thursday.
 
Juniors Jacob Agerschou and Otto Van Buynder and sophomores Melan Dhaubhadel and Mikkel Schmitt each earned All-American Scholar status.
 
"Congratulations to Jacob, Otto, Melan and Mikkel for another outstanding recognition for themselves and our golf program," ULM Director of Golf Tim Baldwin said. "The guys put in a lot of work during the year and it's nice to see these recognitions. All of these guys are back again this year and will lead the way in 2022-23."
 
It is the second consecutive All-America Scholar honor for Van Buynder and Dhaubhadel after earning recognition following the 2020-21 season.
 
To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar honors, an NCAA Division I student-athlete must be sophomore, junior or senior academically, participate in 40 percent of his team's competitive rounds in 2019-20, have a stroke average under 76.0 and maintain at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average. A recipient also must be of high moral character and in good standing at his college or university.
