"I'm very pleased with our numbers this week," ULM Men's Golf Head Coach Tim Baldwin said. "We were a little flat day two, but really clicked on our final nine holes today. Otto and Theis were exceptional this week, both finishing in the Top 10. It was a very nice start to the season."

ULM's 25-under-par score set the program record for score to par in a 54-hole tournament. The 839-stroke total is the second lowest in program history behind the Warhawks' showing of an 837 at the 2019 Sun Belt Conference Championship.

Van Buynder's career-best 9-under-par 207 (70-70-67) was good for a tie for the ninth-lowest individual 54-hole total in program history. He played a bogey-free round Tuesday at 5-under-par 67. He collected three consecutive birdies on the par-5 ninth, par-4 10th and par-5 11th. He also added birdies on the par-4 first and par-4 15th to go with his 13 pars.
