Warhawks Sixth at USA Intercollegiate in Record-Setting Weekend

MOBILE, Ala. – The ULM women's golf team wrapped up the USA Intercollegiate in sixth place at 5-under-par 859 (286-284-289) Monday at the Crossings Course at RTJ-Magnolia Grove.
 
ULM's score of 859 is the lowest 54-hole total in program history, clearing the previous record low by 11 strokes when ULM carded a 6-over-par 870 at the UT Arlington Invitational in 2020-21 season. The Warhawks also set the lowest 36-hole total in program history at 6-under-par 570 (286-284) after the first two rounds.
 
Chantal Dueringer placed fourth at 7-under-par 209 (72-68-69) to card the second lowest individual tournament score in program history, falling just shy of Alison Knowles' 8-under-par 208 showing at the 2013 Lady Red Wolf Classic.
 
Arkansas State won the team title at 14-under-par 850 (285-284-281), while Western Kentucky's Sydney Hackett was the individual medalist at 10-under-par 206 (67-71-68).
 
In Monday's final round, Dueringer shot 3-under-par 69. Starting on the first hole, she birdied the par-5 sixth to finish the front nine at even-par 36. On the back nine, she birdied the par-4 12th, par-5 13th and par-5 16th while playing bogey-free to finish at 3-under-ar 33. She had 13 pars on her round. She set a ULM career best with her overall score of 209 and picked up the ninth Top-10 finish of her career.
 
Anna Andrysova recorded her first career Top-10 placing in her first collegiate tournament, finishing in a tie for sixth at 4-under-par 212 (70-70-72). In her even-par 72 round on Monday, she birdied the par-4 third and par-3 14th while knocking down 14 pars.
 
Johanna Sjursen finished tied for 22nd at 1-over-par 217 (70-74-73). In Monday's final round, she birdied the par-3 second, par-5 fourth and par-4 seventh while collecting 11 pars to shoot 1-over-par 73.
 
Alessia Mengoni tied for 37th at 5-over-par 221 (74-72-75). She birdied the sixth, seventh and par-4 10th holes and added 12 pars to shoot a 3-over-par 75 in the final round.
 
Line Petersen tied for 63rd at 12-over-par 228 (76-75-77). She had birdies on the par-3 second and 13th and tallied 10 pars to shoot 5-over-par 77 on Monday.
 
The Warhawks are off until the Hunstville Toyota Bearkat Invitational on Sept. 26-27.
