MONROE, La. – The ULM men's and women's track and field teams continue the indoor season Friday and Saturday at the Vanderbilt Invitational. Events start with the men's heptathlon at 9:30 a.m. Friday with track events starting at 5:30 p.m. Action begins at 10 a.m. Saturday with the completion of the heptathlon at 10 a.m. with track events starting at 12 p.m.
The Warhawks are coming off the season-opening LSU Purple Tiger last weekend, where
Eunice Ilunga Mbuyi (triple jump),
Amanda Radava (800 meters) and
Brianna Washington (shot put) all won their events on the women's side, while
Ali Eren Unlu (high jump) picked up the only win for the men.
Unlu and
Ainsley Hamsher each set school records on opening weekend, with Unlu clearing 7-2 1/2 in the high jump and Hamsher setting the women's pole vault indoor record at 11-11 3/4.

Ansley Long (3000),
Jalynn Lozano (3000),
Olaia Becerril Alvarez (60) and
Nasya Ramirez (60) all set personal records for the women in the first meet of the season, while Unlu,
Joseph McEvoy (long jump) and
Reid Guirlando (600) set personal records for the men.
