MONROE, La. – The ULM tennis team returns to Heard Stadium for the first time in over three weeks to take on Northwestern State at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
The Warhawks have been off since a 4-3 win at Stephen F. Austin on Thursday to move to 2-6 on the dual season.
Giovanna Pereira leads the way with eight singles wins for ULM and has tied for the team lead with six doubles victories.
Alice Klinteby has seven singles wins and six doubles wins.
Northwestern State is 4-1 in duals this spring, picking up wins against Xavier (La.), 7-0, Jackson State, 4-3, at Southern Miss, 4-1, and against LSU-Shreveport (7-0). Ayu Ishibashi and Tjasa Klevisar are each 4-1, splitting time at No. 1 and No. 2 singles. The doubles tandem of Dorota Szczygielska and Renske Ubachs is 4-1 at No. 3 doubles.
