ULM Beach Volleyball Set for Bayou Bash

MONROE, La. – The ULM beach volleyball team plays its first home event of the season, the ULM Bayou Bash, on Friday and Saturday at the ULM Beach Volleyball Courts, located behind Heard Stadium.
 
The Warhawks are off to their best start in program history, sitting at 15-1 entering the event. ULM entertains Southwest Baptist at 10:30 a.m. and Nicholls at 3:30 p.m. Friday before taking on Texas A&M-Kingsville at 10:30 a.m. and Nicholls at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. SBU is 6-7, Nicholls is 2-15 and TAMUK is 5-10.
 
Other matches in the ULM Bayou Bash includes Nicholls against TAMUK at 8 a.m. Friday, SBU against TAMUK at 1 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday and SBU vs. Nicholls at 1 p.m. Saturday.
 
Friday's match is the second this season between ULM and SBU, with ULM winning 4-1 on March 10 at the Mary Hardin-Baylor Invitational. ULM swept pairs two through five in picking up the win.
 
ULM has faced Nicholls twice this season, picking up 5-0 wins on March 3 at the Nicholls Invitational and again last Saturday at the Lion Up Beach Bash in Youngsville, Louisiana.
 
ULM's No. 3 pair of Brooke Hoven and Tamsie Black and the No. 4 pair of Avery Reynolds and Claire Williamson have each lost just once this season.
