MONROE, La. – The ULM beach volleyball team plays its second and final home event of the season, the ULM Beach Invitational, on Friday and Saturday at the ULM Beach Volleyball Courts, located behind Heard Stadium.
The Warhawks have compiled the most wins in a single season in program history, sitting at 22-2 entering the event. ULM entertains Spring Hill at 10 a.m. and Stephen F. Austin at 2 p.m. Friday before taking on Central Arkansas at 10 a.m. and Hendrix at 4 p.m. Saturday. Spring Hill is 11-9, SFA is 3-14, UCA is 6-12 and Hendrix is 12-11. Earlier this season, ULM defeated Hendrix, 5-0, at the Mary Hardin-Baylor Beach Tournament and topped Spring Hill, 5-0, to open the Lion Up Classic in Youngsville, Louisiana.
Other matches in the ULM Beach Invitational includes Hendrix vs. UCA at 8 a.m. Friday, SFA vs. UCA at 12 p.m. Friday, Hendrix vs. Spring Hill at 4 p.m. Friday, Spring Hill vs. UCA at 8 a.m. Saturday, SFA vs. Spring Hill at 12 p.m. Saturday and SFA vs. Hendrix at 2 p.m. Saturday.
