MONROE, La. – The ULM men's and women's track & field teams are set to compete at the Joe Walker Invitational at Ole Miss Friday and Saturday. Field events are scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. Friday with track events at 5 p.m., while the decathlon starts action on Saturday at 10 a.m. with track events beginning at 2 p.m.
 
For the men, Ali Eren Unlu and Jay Louison-Roe enter the meet with the top seed marks in their respective events. Unlu is set to compete in the high jump, with a seed mark of 7-3 (2.21 meters), and Louison-Roe is entered in the triple jump, with a seed mark of 49-4 1/4 (15.04 meters). Jordan Hollis is seeded in the first section of the 200 and 400 meters, while Juwan Blignaut is in the first section of the 1500. Joseph McEvoy and Bailey Couch will compete in the decathlon.
 
For the women, Kimone Campbell is in the field for the 800 invitational and is seeded in the first section of the 1500, along with Paula Vaquera Cervantes. Cervantes also will compete in the 5000 invite. Claudine Raud-Gumiel and Savanna Lawson will compete in the heptathlon.
