MONROE, La. – The ULM beach volleyball team has earned the 2022-23 Team Academic Award from the United States Marine Corps and American Volleyball Coaches Association.
It is the seventh-consecutive season in which ULM beach volleyball has earned the Team Academic Award, dating back to 2017.
The program also was listed on the Team Academic Honor Roll, which recognizes teams which finish in the top 20% nationally in team grade-point average. It is the third-straight season and fourth time overall for the Warhawk beach team to be listed on the Honor Roll. ULM is one of 14 beach programs at all collegiate competition levels to be included on the Honor Roll.
The awards, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honor volleyball teams that maintain a year-long GPA of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale.
