Otto Van Buynder and
Melan Dhaubhadel were each named Second-Team All-Louisiana by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association for the 2022-23 season. The teams were selected by the state's media relations directors.
Van Buynder, a senior from Centurion, South Africa, played in all 11 tournaments and 33 rounds for ULM, with his score counting toward the team total in 31 rounds. He led the team with a 71.85 stroke average. He finished third twice, coming at the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate and the Little Rock Invitational. He tied for fifth at the Border Olympics and finished 10th at both the Bayou City Collegiate Classic and Tiger Intercollegiate. He shot a low three-round score of 9-under-par 207 twice, coming at the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate and Tiger Intercollegiate. His low round of 67 came at the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate.
Dhaubhadel, a junior from Berkshire, England, played in all 11 tournaments and 33 rounds for ULM, with his score counting toward the team total in 28 rounds, including the final 25 rounds of the season. He was second on the team with a 72.91 stroke average. He finished sixth with a season-low score of 9-under-par 207 at the White Sands Bahamas Invitational. He placed seventh at the Desert Mountain Collegiate. He shot a low round of 66 to open the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate. He led ULM with 113 birdies and a 71.36 first-round average.
